STUDENTS IN THE COLLEGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES MUST DECLARE A MAJOR BY THE END OF THEIR SOPHOMORE SEMESTER.

3. Should we advise students to make an appointment to have their academic planning form signed in your department? If so, do they need to bring a transcript or any other supplemental materials with them to their appointment?

DEPENDS ON THEIR PROGRAM OR MAJOR, AND ON NUMBER OF UNITS TOTAL.

7. Are EAP grades counted towards departmental honors?

NO

N/A

9. Does your department distribute a special information sheet for your majors which includes advice on how to articulate participation with EAP with the major?

THE COLLEGE HAS NOT DEVISED A HANDOUT ON INCORPORATING EAP INTO THE MAJOR PROGRAM. HOWEVER, THE CNR MAJOR ADVISORS DO PROGRAM PLANNING WITH THE STUDENT AND THEY DO FACTOR IN EAP IF NECESSARY.

10. If yes, do you also provide this information on your departmental website? What is the URL?

N/A

12. Finally, most EAP students are required to officially declare their major before departure. Returning EAP students who attempt to register through Tele-BEARS from abroad need adviser codes to pre-enroll for courses. What is your departmental policy on releasing advisor codes (AC's) to EAP students?

CNR STUDENTS MUST BE DECLARED PRIOR TO GOING ON EAP. THE COLLEGE HAS AN ADVISOR CODE RELEASE FORM THAT WE GIVE TO OUR STUDENTS PRIOR TO THEIR DEPARTURE ON THE EAP PROGRAM.
