Parents: Welcome to EAP!

Dear EAP Parent:

For over 40 years, the University of California's Education Abroad Program (EAP) has sent students abroad in the hopes of fostering academic growth and cross-cultural understanding. By deciding to participate on EAP, your son/daughter has made the first step towards gaining a level of academic and personal enrichment that comes with the singular experience of living and studying abroad.

We would like to assure you of our commitment to preparing and supporting your son/daughter throughout their EAP experience. We would also like to underscore the essential role that parental support plays throughout a student's EAP experience - prior to departure, during their stay abroad, and after their return to the United States. We encourage you to explore the Parents section of our web site and familiarize yourself with what the EAP study abroad experience has to offer your son/daughter. We welcome you to the EAP family of supporters.
