Summer 2006 Human Rights Fellowship

Description:

The Human Rights Center is pleased to announce its annual competition for student fellowships with human rights organizations in the United States and abroad. The fellowship includes a $3,500 stipend.

The fellowship provides students with an opportunity to carry out clearly defined human rights-related fieldwork with specific governmental or non-governmental organizations related to a student's area of study. The goal is to encourage students to become involved in the work of human rights organizations that can, in turn, influence a student's area of research or academic focus.

U.C. Berkeley registered students and Graduate Theological Union students are eligible to apply. A priority is given to graduate and returning students.
