Professor M. M. Patnaik is one of the greatest flute maestros of Orissa. He is both a renowned solo artist and an accomplished composer whose grand musical works sometimes include orchestras of hundreds of artists. In addition to the flute, he is Orissa’s only state-recognized santoor player. Prof. Patnaik is also a research scholar in the field of tribal music and has been awarded with a senior fellowship from the government of India. He is currently the Head of the Department of Classical Music and Senior Professor at the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, a prestigious college of music and dance in Bhubaneswar. He has high repute as a teacher and his students are established as performers at the national and international level.

Sudev Sheth is a student at the University of California, Berkeley. He has played with many artists including Sri Abhiman Kaushal, Ustad Shujaat Khan, Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, Sri Binay Pathak.
