Punjabi Studies Campaign

Initiated in 1993, the Punjabi Studies Campaign finances the instruction of the Punjabi language at UC Berkeley. It is not an endowment campaign but is an ongoing effort to ensure that Punjabi courses continue to be offered. Initial support came from the campus Sikh Students Association, and the Sikh Foundation and the Punjab Cultural Society provide generous annual donations. Gifts to the Punjabi Studies Campaign will help ensure that Punjabi continues to be offered at UC Berkeley.

The current instructor of Punjabi is Upkar Ubhi.
