Manjula Padmanabhan (b. 1953) is a writer and artist. This collection of
etchings features whimsical representations of animal and human figures,
and amalgams of the two. Padhmanabhan will also display several
lithographs and glazed ceramic bowls. Her books include Hot Death, Cold
Soup, a collection of short stories, Getting There, a travel memoir, and
Kleptomania, another short story anthology. "Harvest," her fifth play,
won first prize in the 1997 Onassis Prize for Theatre. She has
illustrated 23 books for children, including her own two children's
novels, "Mouse Attack" and "Mouse Invaders." Her comic strips have
appeared regularly in Bombay's Sunday Observer and New Delhi's Pioneer.

Sonali Sheth is a disciple of Shaiq Chisty and has been learning sitar
for the last 5 years. She will be playing Raag Bihag.
Manali Sheth is also a disciple of Shaiq Chisty and has been learning
santoor for the last three years. She will be playing a traditional
composition in the folk melody raga known as Pahadi.
Vivek Narayanadas has been playing the tabla since the age of 8. He was
taught by Ramesh Kumar and Sanjiv Munshi.
